Effective Date: October 11, 2025
Welcome to bottleshop.ng. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the bottleshop.ng website and services. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs.
1. Mandatory Age Restriction and Eligibility
1.1 Legal Drinking Age: The Service is strictly intended for individuals who are of the legal drinking age in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which is eighteen (18) years old or older.
1.2 Verification: By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. Bottleshop.ng reserves the right to request official government-issued identification at the time of purchase or delivery to verify your age. If age cannot be verified, the delivery agent will withhold the product and a restocking fee may apply.
1.3 Violation: If bottleshop.ng discovers that a user is under 18 years of age, we reserve the right to immediately terminate the user’s account and cancel any outstanding orders.
2. Orders, Pricing, and Payment
2.1 Currency: All prices listed on bottleshop.ng are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Order Acceptance: An order placement does not constitute a final sale. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies, or errors in product or pricing information.
2.3 Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of placing the order or upon delivery (for approved Cash-on-Delivery areas). We use secure third-party payment gateways for all online transactions.
3. Shipping and Delivery
3.1 Delivery Location: We only deliver to addresses within designated service areas in Nigeria.
3.2 Risk of Loss: All items purchased are made pursuant to a delivery contract. The risk of loss and title for such items passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier or, if we deliver directly, upon delivery to the specified address, provided age verification is successful.
3.3 Delivery Attempts: It is your responsibility to ensure you or an eligible adult (18+) is available at the delivery location to receive the order and provide proof of age. Failed delivery attempts due to absence or failed age verification may incur additional re-delivery fees or a cancellation fee.
4. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
4.1 Final Sale (Alcohol): Due to the nature of alcoholic beverages, all sales of alcoholic products are generally final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds for non-faulty alcoholic products once the seal is broken or the product has been accepted at delivery.
4.2 Damaged Goods: If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery. We may require photographic evidence of the damage. Approved returns will be processed as an exchange or a full refund for the product’s value.
4.3 Cancellations: Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, and the delivery process must be completed, subject to the returns policy.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on bottleshop.ng, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of bottleshop.ng or its suppliers and is protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission.
6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer
Bottleshop.ng shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service or for the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these T&Cs or your use of the Service is limited to the amount paid by you for the products in question.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
