The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old is part of our Double Cask collection, which expertly blends the classic Macallan style with the distinct sweetness of American oak. This single malt is a well-balanced blend of honey, citrus, and ginger flavours. It perfectly combines the lush fruit, caramel, and oak spice flavour of sherried European oak with the refreshing citrus and vanilla notes of sherried American oak, resulting in a rich, well-balanced flavour. When it was first released, the whisky was unanimously awarded Double Gold.
